(Austin, Texas – April 22nd, 2019) On May 6-10 2019, leaders of national and global construction firms in the United States will join Safety Week with a single purpose: to inspire and achieve new levels of industry safety. JMJ has aligned with other members in the consortium to elevate and celebrate the industry-wide ‘Safety Week’ under a new theme, ‘Safe by Choice.’
JMJ is sponsoring the annual Construction Safety Week for the sixth consecutive year. Over the course of the week, thousands of people around the world will engage in activities related to safety in the workplace. JMJ will share perspective, tools, and useful tips across its social media platforms to provoke new thinking and ideas for workplace and personal safety.
“JMJ is honored to support this annual initiative and be a part of the journey to lead every industry towards a way of working where no one is injured. We can all be leaders in keeping individuals in the workforce safe”, said JMJ CEO, Sue Steele. “At JMJ, this is what we do every day. It’s our commitment to safety, health and well-being for all people in the workplace. Safety Week is a great platform for reaching out to the entire industry to share safety ideas. Building on the successes of the previous years, we are proud to stand in partnership, yet again, with over 70 major construction firms leading week-long activities designed to boost safety performance and well-being on the job.”
