Nils Steinbrecher joins JMJ as Managing Director to lead the firm’s continued growth and expansion in APAC.
(Austin, Texas – 08 October,2019) JMJ Associates (JMJ), the leading global management consultancy specializing in transforming performance culture and safety leadership, announces the appointment of Nils Steinbrecher as Managing Director to lead its APAC business, based in Singapore. This follows the decision by Mike Goddu, Managing Director and Co-Founder to take on role of Senior Partner for Major Capital Projects.
Nils brings a wealth of consulting experience to his new role, having worked with many global and regional clients to transform their organizations’ safety culture and operational performance. Nils is deeply passionate about sustainability of which safety is the foundation. Nils brings a deep understanding of the Asia market, having lived and worked within the region for more than 13 years.

In his role, Nils will be responsible for JMJ’s APAC operations and client development. He will lead the firm’s consultants and professional teams located in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia from JMJ’s regional headquarters in Singapore.

I am pleased to lead JMJ’s APAC business and have the opportunity to work with such a passionate and talented team committed to resolving the most pressing challenges in safety, performance and production.” Nils says.
Nils is a part-time lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) for their Master of Environmental Management Course covering sustainability operations, climate change, energy efficiency, product stewardship and renewable energy.
Prior to joining JMJ, Nils was the Strategic Account Leader and Business Director for ASEAN, Japan and Korea at DuPont Sustainable Solutions, an operations management consulting firm. Before that, Nils was a partner and energy climate change practice leader at ERM in Asia and Europe. He holds a Master of Science, Business Administration with Electrical Engineering from the Darmstadt University of Technology.
Nils will continue to expand JMJ’s market share in APAC, fulfilling JMJ’s mission of helping clients achieve high levels of performance and set new standards of safety excellence. Nils will present at the Refining and Petrochemicals World, China 2019 in Beijing on the 17 October.
