This upcoming October, CPI will once again offer its Polyurethanes Professional Development Program (PDP) for safety leadership in conjunction with the Polyurethanes Technical Conference. The PDP presents different chances for members to develop industry experience with a wide mixture of informative and safety training classes. The programs are developed by subject matter specialists from the safety industry and are a great occasion to discover and network with leaders across the safety value chain network.
Let's take an exclusive look at two of the leadership development program's staples that contribute safety training to participators year after year: PU 100 and PU 101.
Whether you're an industry novice or studying to brush up on your polyurethane experience, these two courses are perfect for you.
PU 100: Introduction to the Polyurethane Industry (Sunday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) exhibits the development and improvement of polyurethanes during the years since its conception and explores the development of polyurethane products during the value chain. This course gives an in-depth analysis of the basic laws of polyurethane formulation and the process tools involved in making polyurethanes, as well as learning on primary mixing technology. PU 101:Polyurethane Chemistry (Sunday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.) presents an in-depth glimpse into the history and technical aspects of polyurethane chemistry. The program starts with the story of polyurethanes, a chemistry summary and a review of relevant descriptions and names that will set the framework, to begin with. From there, the curriculum will center on polyurethane chemistry and reactions, reactants, formulating components, testing parameters, market uses, and devices.
We asked Lee Salamone, Senior Director of CPI, what safety consultants and trade experts should know about the PDP: CPI is committed to advancing the industry, and education is key. That's why we call upon the best experts in the field to share their knowledge on a wide range of polyurethane topics. Sharing ideas and learning from each other doesn't just benefit individuals, it also increases our collective knowledge and makes our industry stronger. The program's quality of information and excellence in instruction keeps participants coming back year after year.
The Center for the Polyurethanes Industry's annual Polyurethanes Technical Conference, the longest-running polyurethanes conference in North America, offers the unique convergence of industry expertise, professional networking, and regulatory insight. Fostering both technical and professional development, the Polyurethanes Technical Conference is the premier destination to preview the polyurethanes technology of tomorrow and key information for today.
