Over the past decades, overall performance in safety has seen remarkable improvements, but remains fragile …
Most organisations have already developed a sound foundation to manage HSE and achieve the goal of no harm to people and no leaks. In order to sustain this level of performance, organisations need inspired safety leadership and consistent safety operating models. Most organizations do not need additional tools or processes; they need to make them effective.
JMJ will co-deliver a presentation with JMJ client PETRONAS at the CCPS Global Summit on process safety, titled “Leadership: Inspiring Consistent Process Safety Performance.” The presentation will explore key principles of safety leadership to create a culture in which leaders at all levels go beyond compliance and inspire people to want to be safe.
The event will bring together over 400 of the world’s leading Process Safety experts, and will focus on how organisations can effectively implement process safety management to reduce risks and achieve safe, sustainable operations.

On the 30th anniversary of the Bhopal tragedy, CCPS initiated the 1st CCPS Global Summit on Process Safety. This historic event was held in Mumbai on December 2014. The theme of the Summit was based on CCPS Process Safety Vision 20/20. The huge response and success of this event prompted CCPS to continue the Global Summit series until the year 2020. PETRONAS, a leading member in CCPS, took leadership initiatives and decided to support the efforts and sponsored the 2nd CCPS Global Summit on Process Safety. The UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI PETRONAS (UTP) readily agreed to be Co-organizer of the Global Summit.
