JMJ to Present ‘Integrating Personal Safety and Process Safety: Creating a World Class Process Safety Culture and Leadership’ at the 6th annual LACPS

JMJ Senior Consultant Emilia Gempeler will deliver a session entitled ‘Integrating Personal Safety and Process Safety: Creating a World Class Safety Culture’ at the 6th Latin America Conference on Process Safety on Monday 15^th September 2014.

In the session, participants will explore how human beings interact with systems and processes. The safety challenges of the 21st century require an integrative approach that brings fresh thinking and sound practices from across industries and among areas of safety specialization. Lessons from the personal and process safety approaches have revealed the strengths and weaknesses of each, but little has been done to bring them together. This session will highlight the path to a more integral (whole) solution that has formal and informal leaders applying a set of defined practices to generate a high-performing safety culture.

About LACPS

The Latin American Conference on Process Safety is part of CCPS' family of Global Congress on Process Safety, as part of CCPS' worldwide effort to prevent major accidents by promoting lifelong learning and continual improvement in process safety. The LACPS will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s the largest gathering of process safety professionals in Latin America and it’s coming to Buenos Aires, Argentina. This conference will enable participants to meet and interact with other process safety professionals from around the region and learn how to apply their successes.
