Harry Yang is a transformation-based managing consultant who is strongly committed to generate breakthrough results through JMJ’s proven methodology and approach. He enjoys the transformational process of turning challenges into great opportunities, and he is skilled in building High Performance Projects through an exceptional level of communication and coordinated actions.

Harry has 11 years of consulting experience working on mega scale oil and gas, construction, shipbuilding projects in the Middle East (Qatar, UAE and Kuwait), Asia (South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia) in partnership with global clients such as Shell, Chevron, Qatar Petroleum, Maersk, JGC, Samsung E&C, Daewoo, DSME, GS E&C and SK E&C.

Harry is an American-Korean who was born in the US and grew up in France. He is fluent in Korean, English and French, and obtained an International Management Degree and French Degree at the University of Bath in England. Based on his international experience and naturally developed intuition for Asian and Western cultures, Harry’s specialty is to effectively and creatively align inter-cultural conflicts in mult-inational environments.

Harry possesses City and Guilds (UK) Level 2 Certificate in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Training and Level 3 Certificate in 7303 (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). He also achieved the international HSE credential, (National Exam Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) .

Prior to joining JMJ, Harry worked as a Leadership and HSE Trainer on the world largest Gas to Liquids (GTL) plant, Qatar Shell Pearl GTL Project, where he was responsible for delivering first class leadership and management training course (ILM) to over 6,500 senior managers and front-line supervisors from 50 different countries. Harry was also a member of HR reform team at Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) headquarters in Paris, France. He is honorably discharged from the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA).

Harry is a highly motivated, inspired and strongly driven consultant who likes cycling in summer and skiing in winter. And he has been based in Seoul since 2013 with his wife and two lovely daughters.
